In bullet points because you're in a hurry and I don't want to waste your time.
- I'm still alive.
- I've been writing actively since my last Fimfiction publication.
- I like to complete my stories before publishing, not just one chapter at a time. This is why I haven't published in a while.
- I have finished two first draft of two new fics, each of them ~30,000 words long, both serious and heavy stories.
- The first is the same I announced in a blog post earlier (A dark and sad Rainbow and Pinkie drama with a little romance)
- The second is a Twilight and Spike fic. (A thrilling, sad, and dark character-driven mystery. Custom cover art here.)
- They'll both go through multiple drafts before publication; I take quality seriously.
- More info to come on these novellas as I get closer to finishing them.
- I will be writing a lot this summer, aiming for 2000 words a day.
- Thank you for reading my garbage could-be-better scribblings. I swear I will do my utmost not to disappoint you too much.

I'm sorry! I don't mean to make anyone feel bad (besides writing tear-jerking tragedies, that is). I've only been writing actively for a year and a half, and I know I'm not nowhere near good enough by my standards, so I try to be humble and focus on improving so that maybe one day I'll be a quarter as good as people with actual talent.

I swear people are going to think I'm one of those people who self-deprecate themselves online to fish for compliments. I do appreciate the encouragement, though. You are very kind. I'm just saying that I'm not as good as I want to be, and that I'll continue to work hard to become a better writer.

I'll be working extra hard for you. Don't expect the stories too soon, though; they'll still need a lot more work before I feel they're good enough to publish. Until then, I'll likely put out another short story or two to fill the gap. Thanks for the encouragement!
