I'm sorry it took so long, but uni and me finally getting around to finishing Mass Effect 3 kinda delayed things. And the complete gutting and re-write of chapter one probably didn't help, haha. To make up for it, though, I should have the entire thing released in 2-3 weeks!
This story is designed to be a bit of fun: fast-paced, cool action, epic set pieces, and the first glimpse of my head canon for Equestria's history. That last point is quite important, actually, because it is something I am going to be exploring and fleshing out a lot in the coming months.
Anyway, check it out, and let me know what you think! This is a story that gets markedly better as it goes along, mainly because I suck at beginnings, and I was trying to develop my style outside of APLH. If you like it, I'd love to know why; if you don't like it, I'd doubly like to know why!
Oh yeah, and it should be hitting EqD in the next few days provided no wildly ridiculous and unforeseen events intervene with other plans...
