I mean, really. Have you people seen which stories get poulpular?! I'm not gonna name specific ones, but ive seen fanfics with rediculously stupid titles and plots that get poupular even though no one puts a hair of effort into them.
OK, im done raging.
Its the ones about certain dreams that inspired fics ain't it.
Personal mini-rant: I hate how Fallout: Equestria is such a big thing.
The first chapter directly rips out Fallout's intro, then the other half of the chapter is so horribly paced i dont know what character we are following or what the hell is going on.
Then it has the gall to compare massive underground nuclear fallout shelters to a 'stable'; a flimsy shack in the middle of a field.

You do realize that the my little ponyverse is centered around horse related puns as nouns, right?

You can use puns all you want for all I care, but when it detracts from the story? Yeah... no.

Some of the stories really are outrageous, especially the ones that include horrifying grammar and spelling, not to mention the dreaded "No Spacing" mistake. Others are too monotonous, being overdone too many times. Even if the idea isn't original, the author has to make up for it by spinning words into a story, not a mumble jumble of sentences that come from a series of wet dreams.
The ones getting featured are ... okay at best. They are quite ridiculous. I have not seen many featured stories with bad grammar/spelling though, so I'm not quite sure what you mean.
14810 well im not talking about grammar, but about how people use overly rediculuious stuff to pull others in, I.E. I saw a fanfic called "Rainbow Dash seduces a wattermaellon." over 50 likes. Jut kinda bugs me
