Apologies for the lack of updates, but amidst working on MWBD, finding a job, completing school, and rewriting 60% of the past chapters for Homebound, I've been really, really busy.

... The Steam sales may or may have not played a part, as well. Nobody's perfect, least of all me.

    Promises

Oh dear. It's certainly been a while, hasn't it? I suppose I don't really have any excuses for being absent for over a month, right after a giant cliffhanger on Homebound, but what can you do? I got sick once, had surgery, got sick from the painkillers and felt like death was probably a nicer option than having my stomach decide to try

    Back.

New Homebound chapter up, secret project cancelled, no progress on the Rainbow Dash story*, and three scenes away from completion of the first chapter of VV, which is currently looking to be 25k long.

That is all. It's good to be back.

(For Homebound readers, I posted some questions in the comments of the recent chapter. Could use some input on that.)

    Leaving.

I'll be gone for the next couple of days, until Saturday at best. During that time, I'll still have access to the computer, and chances are I'll be very, very bored. I believe last year when this happened, I wrote over 12k words (which later ended up becoming Homebound.) and with that said, I'll still be writing. I've got Chapter 19 (the

hi :(

Anyways, sorry for taking so long. It is final. I will be getting nothing from my flash drive back. Standing Tall is canceled, I lost all of my notes, and I also lost a bit portion of Homebound. It isn't too bad, though. I had a lot planned for Standing Tall, so it's a bummer - they never got to have their adventure, and how the humans left Equestria will never be discovered. I can easily rewrite all of the bits lost from Homebound - which is good, because the first draft was sort of rushed. I ended up removing the Crossover tag because, while it does technically fall under the literal definition of "Crossover" type stories, it might not fit the bill for Fimfiction.

As such, I've got to also focus on finishing up school right now, so Homebound chapters will be out slower than normal... which was slow anyways. If I stick to ten chapters an act - plus the two chapters I have planned for interludes, Homebound will be over forty-six chapters long. That's sodding massive as far as Fimfiction stories go, if you get my drift. well, at a rate of four-thousand words per average chapter, at least.

And, Plotline, the current title for my in-development story. I know most of what's going to happen, even if I lost all of my notes and the chapter outlines when my flash drive died. I have the first chapter done and unedited, and the second chapter half-done. Beyond that, I have no idea when I'll get to the point of releasing it. Like I said, I have to finish up school.

I'll get back to you on that.

I made an account just so I could comment here. Seriously, don't stop what you're doing; you're an amazing writer. I've only read Homebound, but I guess I should count myself lucky that I didn't start any of your other stories, since I'd probably be bummed that you're discontinuing them (Also, sorry for your loss. My external HD recently failed too with no real backup; that was over 200GB of data, so I know how annoying it can be). I can't wait to see how Homebound develops though, and 46 chapters... that'll definitely be an accomplishment. Anyway, I just thought I'd offer my compliments and encouragement, because your stories seriously deserve more attention.

156006 Oh... Wow. That seriously means a lot. There's not much I could say in return but thanks...
