Dear Readers,
Very soon, I will be posting the first chapter of my newest story. But before I do, I would like a moment of your time to speak with all of you. This is because the story I am currently writing is unlike any I have written before, and is one I have never encountered before- thus, I don't want any of you to be alarmed by the story's (admittedly) unusual format.
As you are reading the new story, you may notice hyperlinks inserted into the story at various points. I assure you that all of these hyperlinks are perfectly safe, and in fact lead to various ambient music tracks on Youtube. By opening these links in a separate tab or window on your browser, it is my hope that these music tracks will help to establish the mood of each scene in the story, and create a more immersive reading experience. I will stress, however, that while present in the story, the use of these hyperlinks is entirely optional, and they are not necessary to enjoy the story to its fullest, nor will they supplant the quality of writing that you have come to expect from me.
With this in mind, I have a request for all of my readers: if one of the hyperlinks I have placed in the story leads to a video that has been removed, please notify me as soon as possible, so that I can replace the missing track.

Edit: Okay look, I get it. I'm not the first person to write a story like this. But I've been kicking around on fanfiction.net a lot longer than I have on this site, and on FF.net, you're not allowed to use any links whatsoever, hyperlink or otherwise. So I'm sorry for being so presumptuous as to think that what I was doing with unique, but I had literally never seen a story like mine until I started writing it.
So if you've come onto this post to tell me that somebody had already done what I done in my new story, don't. I already know.
Sorry to say this, but...you give yourself way too much credit. Fanfic writers have been linking music clips in stories since before MLP:FiM even existed.
Friendship is Timeless did it way before you did, buddy.
Hyperlinks are glorious things to use for space, but its unfortunate not everyone (especially my fanbase) really understands them. It was a good idea here to explain them to your followers in case they didn't understand.
