Alright, people, here's what I've concluded after seeing so many suicidal blog posts:
About 40% of the users on FimFic want to kill themselves. 70% are depressed. This is most likely one of the effects of what I call "The Dark Age." The blood moon was most likely the cause of what's happening right now.
If the reason for your suicide is because of bad parents, try to sit down and have a chat with them. Choose a subject. Except for suicide. Never talk to your parents about suicide. My parents don't like the idea of suicide, or murder. They're good parents, which is the reason for me being depressed instead of suicidal. College turned to shit for me, which made everything spiral downward. When I'm depressed I can't really do anything (I've been thinking about remixing some of my old 8-bit music) because of so many mental barriers.
--Do not commit suicide. If the chat with your parents doesn't work, find a place to stay, whether it's with your uncle, a friend, or on your own (last one's not recommended).

I'm not the first one to ask, but I'm also curious as to how the blood moon could have anything to do with it. That just seems non sequitur. Not to sound impolite, I just think some explanation may be needed.
Otherwise the depression and suicidal thought things around here are indeed valid concerns.
Well, I'm going to preface this right here that I am out of there now. However when you say don't talk to your parents about suicide...that's not true for all situations.
My mom was the one who originally kept telling me to do it. Starting at age twelve all the way until eighteen when she kicked me out. She would force me to take a whole bottle of pills all at once, or hold me down by my throat until I went limp. Would ground me from food. I remember the halloween when I was eightteen the suprise I felt after being hit and seeing blood drip to the floor. I lifted my hand to my hair and it came away soaked in red.
And she made it clear that there was only one thing that I could take my frustrations out. She encouraged self harm. She laughed at it.
Tldr: My depression is worsened by migraines worsened by numerous concussions. Oh, and nightmare induced insomnia

2146089 well, it's only a theory. SmileHDFan was probably the first to be hit by depression, and that was probably a few weeks after the blood moon. I'm sure that others may have been affected before her, and that is why I make the assumption.
Of course, it could just be coincidental.
