Hey fans. Sorry for the huge wall 'o text, but I have a lot to say, and you'll probably enjoy it. Bear with my rambling.
So I've been away from FimFiction for a while now, since I finished Dark Cloud.
Its sequel, called "Dark Genesis," is almost ready to be released. I'm just waiting on some decent cover art, which my good friend Shadowflame should be getting to me any day now.
But while I've been gone, I've been doing some major thinking about my stories, and I decided something. Here's the surprise.
All of my fics, every single one unless stated otherwise, will tie together into one massive storyline.
When I started Dark Cloud, I had no idea how awesomely complicated it would become. When I started Haunted Cartridge as some random crossover/gore fic, using some of the same names as I did in Dark Cloud, I had no clue that I would actually tie them together into one universe.
But it fits perfectly. Oh, it fits so perfectly.
My brain set everything up before I even knew I was doing this, including the Pinkie/Ventus ship that I unintentionally made.
That actually plays a huge part in this.
But yeah, I've given enough spoilers for now. If you're following Dark Cloud and haven't taken a look at The Haunted Cartridge yet, I highly recommend doing so. I'm sorry -- as it was originally a gore fic, it is rated mature and is more than slightly disturbing. I doubt this'll be a problem for most of you, but if for some reason you can't stand the gore, then message me and I'll send you a rough summary as to what happened.
But Haunted Cartridge is actually the fourth book in this series. Dark Cloud is #1, then Dark Genesis, then a third one that I haven't decided on a title for, and then Haunted Cartridge. Even though the stories seem completely unrelated now, it will make sense eventually, trust me.
