Shining Dash and Dental Hygiene · 4:20am May 9th, 2014
Against my better judgment, I've been working on the next chapter of 'Shining Dash' and am almost halfway through writing it.
It would have been finished sooner but, progress was unfortunately postponed with a dental check up and the revelation of six or seven cavities with subsequent visits in the near future to get them filled and that I will need surgery to extract all of my wisdom teeth-but, no one cares about that.
Now back to the story-without getting too spoiler-y (hopefully); in Chapter 17 (which so far I haven't come up with a fitting title for) it will more or less continue where the previous chapter left off and there will be more interaction between the protagonists as well as an action scene.
On a semi-related note, I plan on making upcoming scenes pretty brutal so I'm not sure how brutal you guys would consider needing a 'gore' tag...of course I'm not talking about guts literally being spilled, but in terms of stabbing, cutting, and broken bones?
I don't THINK those would require it since I feel like those are really all that hardcore, but I'm not 100% so I'm asking you guys what you think.
Well, I don't mind at all. Go ahead!
More blood is always better
As long as it doesn't mean dismemberment or disembowelment, I think you can get away without using a gore tag.
Oh and stop being so hard on yourself, if you were a cruddy writer we wouldn't be anxiously awaiting another chapter, believe me if you were bad, your readers would tell you.
