Next project and new story chapter. · 9:18pm May 3rd, 2014
Hello everybody.
Today I'd like to talk briefly about the next story project(s) that I'll be undertaking, as well as inform you of the newest chapter of my story "The Concerto of a Don" and my thoughts on it and the story as a whole thus far. Let's start with the project(s).
While I normally don't (or maybe wouldn't) make a blog post talking about smaller story ideas, I decided that I may as well mention one I'll be doing since it is a project in itself I suppose. Like most of my earlier works, this smaller project was the result of a spur of the moment inspiration, specifically due to a five second segment of an actual episode, and how I perceived the character in question would be reacting during the rest of the episode. Expect to see it published either tonight or sometime tomorrow.
My next big project is something that I'm very excited about. Like "The Concerto of a Don," this story is going to take a good bit of work to write/complete. In this case however, it's going to take a lot more mental work, than physical. This is because the vast majority of the story, will be done in rhyming stanzas. All the chapters will be relatively short, (probably less than 1000 words each) but will take a great deal of time to come up with enough rhyming lines to make each chapter.
"You just rhymed around, with around." - Mac, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
^I'll be doing my best to avoid this.
The inspiration for this story is a two-parter, but I'll wait until the first chapter(s) is/are published so you can try and figure them out for yourself. ^_^
Now onto what I'm sure you've all been waiting for! (just kidding, unless this really was what you were waiting for O.O) "The Concerto of a Don."
I've just recently published the 8th scene (chapter) of my "The Godfather" inspired one-for-one story. So far it's the shortest chapter I've made, but hopefully that doesn't mean it falls the shortest as well. I plan on writing two more chapters, for a total of 10, so keep an eye out for those within the next week(s).
Now I'll be honest, this story has been progressing (both writing and feedback wise) as I've kind of been expecting from it. By this point in the story, as well as the movie, things seemed to move slower, and admittingly got a little more confusing at times. Since I'm sticking by the original concept as much as I can, there's only so many pony antics I can include to try and keep the story at least somewhat entertaining to any readers.
I've never read any of the "Mafia Octavia" tumblr's, so it was originally just the idea of a mafia Octavia that inspired me to put her in this setting. While I am glad that I've gotten more positive than negative feedback, I still wish at times that I had done everything different, or come up with a more original idea. Whether I do, or do not in the future I don't know, but I'm planning on seeing this story through to the end!
Well I think that about wraps everything up for now. Thank you all for reading, and I hope you enjoyed learning about the up-and-coming attractions!

Rhyming stanzas? Cool! Look forward to reading it! As soon as I get some free time, I'll also make sure to read some of your other stories. (Right now EECS is irritating me. )

Yep rhyming! I'll probably be like this by the time I'm done ->
Also, EECS?
