    New Venus is under submission!

    :pinkiehappy:

Btw, a little note about the last story I submitted- It didn't pass. Not related to mlp:fim and I agree, it really isn't. Which is kinda a wonder why I thought that was even a good idea for submission to begin with.

    Finally submitted my story!! Woooo!!!

My god, that was painful. Just the simple act of having to click the submit button in order to go through the process of posting the story was painful. I've always known I had a bit of a perfectionist outlook on things I've created but...

    50 Writing in 150 Days

    Hello!
This is a self-issued challenge, of a sort. In 150 day, I'll be writing 50 stories, chapters, poems, and/or drabbles. So, roughly every three days I'll have something to post either here, on fanfiction.net, or tumblr. That's all, happy yester-valentine's day!

My tumblr: http://holotenty-writes.tumblr.com/ (I keep track of all writings here.)

Petition to tell major news organizations to stop exploiting victims through video and pictures. · 10:09pm May 1st, 2014

"
Every day, major news networks post photos and air footage of people whose lives have been shaken by wars, storms, accidents, and criminal activity. From the mother of a Malaysia Airlines Flight MH 370 passenger to an Arkansas woman left injured and homeless after a tornado, these people deserve to be left alone and not subjected to international scrutiny after suffering such devastating circumstances.

It isn't right to videotape or photograph people whose lives have just been turned upside down, who are often bleeding and crying in pain from their injuries, whose clothing has been torn from their bodies, people who are beside themselves with grief at the loss of a loved one.

Most of us would seek to protect our injured children, parents, siblings, and friends from prying camera lenses; no decent human being wishes to intrude on others' privacy by voyeuristically witnessing their pain on the internet, in newspapers, or on television. It is therefore indecent and exploitative to use such footage and photos for the purpose of disseminating news, and it is high time that the networks put a stop to this. Please join me in asking them to do so."
