Time is just a construct of human design, we don't know how long a minute really is, we just persevere it as 60 seconds, but then a gain we don't know how long 60 seconds is we just made measurements of time according to our own planets rotations and orbits of the sun, i mean here a year is 365 days, but on Mars a year is 686 days, we just made our own measurements of time to suite us, and whilst

I was thinking as usual, and my perception on life is... depressingly truthful, i am a realist, so i see things as how they are, i don't try to sugar coat anything to make a bad situation good, and i don't try to darken things to make a good situation bad, i just see a situation as it is, but unfortunately, most things in life aren't that great, life is a depressing thing, so many things in this

Spectrum's... they are every where, sexuality, how much you like something, honesty the list goes on, and you can be at either end of one, for example, you can be gay or straight, or you can be bi, another one is a political spectrum, you can be right wing or left wing, in my opinion, political and religious extremism (being at the far end of a sectrum and displaying that opinion openly) are both

For a long time i have been a strong believer in a theory, its called 'the many worlds theory' this theory states that, for every singes choice that anyone or anything makes, there is an infinite number of universes that are created, where any other possible decision is made. i don't know why i believe this, it just seems very possible to me, knowing that there is a me out there that made all of

I have been thinking"who are you?" it's such a wonderfully vague question, if you think about it,the number of differant ways you could answer are ridiculous, for example:
    i am dan
    i am a 17 year old
    i am a guy
    i am a teenager
    i am a gamer
    i am a nerd
    i am a Pokemon fan
    i am a brony
    i am 'that Pokemon freak'
    i was 'Bass Line'
an the list goes on, food for thought, toodles.

I need some friendly advice form my friends. · 10:16pm Apr 20th, 2014

For a while now I have been considering dropping put of my collage. Its not because i'm lazy or anything, I have my reasons. my work load is really killing me, I cant keep up with it, the people in my collage are... words that I will not say here and they make my life hell, and just in general I don't think collage and uni is for me, I don't do well in education.
so I just want advice, it would help me loads, thanks

Well... I don't want o give bad advice... I'd say leave, but... you need an education... is this collage just extra school? Like, is it optional to your education? Or is it something you should finish?

2028829
some people drop out before finishing...such as my dad did...I dont think it'll effect you if you get a job and dropped out...

No in the UK collage is like higher education, its not needed for a lot of jobs, and i have a plan, i want to go into the police, and maybe the army, i just don't know at the moment, its a big decision, i don't want to make it wrong :applejackunsure:

2028835 As far as I know, here, in the USA... if you don't finish school you won't get a good job...

2028835 Yeah my dad didn't even go, and i do agree with you, i don't think my mum will though that's the thing :applejackunsure:

2028836 Ah... well... geez... I'd say drop out, but it's your choice... I know what that place is doing to you...

2028839 I have finished school though (secondary school is like the last 'school) i could get jobs with out a levels, i have my GCSE's

2028844 Like I said, i'd say drop out, but I don't really like school...

2028843 Yeah :fluttershysad: i just have to convince my parents :twilightangry2:

2028839 actually, my dad went to drexel and dropped out and he works as an engineer and makes like 3x as money as my mom makes....but that might be because he went to crafting classes instead or something...

2028840
yeah moms usually say no

2028848 neither do i, like i said i never really did good at school :applejackunsure:

2028854 I'm not doing too good either... stupid education! I should be learning farming! And hunting! And stuff like that! not... algebra and trigonometry... :rainbowwild:

2028835 Ah...

2028853 Yeah, i just have to be relentless, i think dropping out would be better for me than staying, all it is doing is stressing me out, im not doing well in it anyway, F*** this is gona be hard :ajbemused:

2028860 :rainbowlaugh: Yeah, well, if i do manage to drop out, i will work until i'm like 21 and then try and get into the army or the police, that's what i want anyway

2028867 Ah, sounds like a plan... the army sounds... interesting...

2028879 Uh oh... *backs away slowly*

I think if you want to be in the Army or police in the UK, you'll be fine without college. You'll probably just have to be in shape. I don't know though. I'm American.

2028882 *calls up the army*

"Hello? Yeah.. if you get an application from a guy named Bass Line, don't ever leave him alone with a gun..."

2028883 Yeah that is true, for the police there is fitness test and an exam (about police stuff) and the army its just fitness and field tests, so yeah

2028853 My brother also dropped out and he is doing fine, so I could talk t him about it as well? :applejackunsure:

2028914 Of course! I wish you luck! And I have no idea when I'll be on skype again... i think my moms laptop broke...

2028922 That sucks on a major level :twilightangry2:

2028916 Good. Typically I would encourage education, but this is a different case.

2028923 I know, right? I have no idea what's going on anymore... :facehoof:

2028925 Thanks for understanding
I would also encourage education but... :applejackunsure:

2028863 how im doing in school right now after the move is compltley effective...-im still flunking math

2028932 Ugh, well, skype me as SOON as you get back on it :pinkiehappy:

2028935 I hear ya, i only BARELY scraped a C, maths is a B**** :twilightangry2:

2028903
that might be a good idea

2028945 I don't even think maths teachers like maths :rainbowlaugh:

2028954 Any who, thanks for the advice, it has helped hearing the opinions of others

If and only if you can find a way to make a living I'd say ditching college is an option. I know here in the USA college is big business that doesn't necessarily put the student first. My bachelor of science is in a frankly weak major and was meant to just bridge me into law school (as was my plan then). My financial situation said otherwise. Don't make that mistake.

I'm doing ok most of the time as a conventioneer and starting this summer probably a cold treats vendor. Wit can be better than formal education sometimes.

Spend the least money possible and major in a hard science or a hands on vocational trade is my stern advice. If you go all the way. All that I know about Gerbner's cultivation theory doesn't do much to bring me a paycheck. You have to be materially useful somehow.

If you can get by with no problem without school I wouldn't blame you. In the US one goes through too much compulsory education with no guarantee of light at the end of the tunnel anyway. I don't know how much it differs in your country but think this out.

I'm never one to say to give up on something, but there is a point where if its not working or doing any good then sometimes its best to stop and try something different, it could be a sign its not for you. if you think you need to then I'll support you in your decision:twilightsmile:

2029154 That does make a lot of sense, the only reason i waited up until now is because i dint want to upset my parents, but i just don't see collage doing anything for me any more, there is no reason for me to stay.

2029156 Thanks  i wouldn't usually do this sort of thing, its just, i don't want or feel i have to be in collage any more, its my parents that want me to stay on and go to uni.

2029170

Well that's your choice to make, just make sure your absolutely certain its the right one.

2029276 I think its is, for me any way.
