Granted, it dropped neither far, nor fast, and it didn't light up at the bottom of the drop, but hey, we actually did something!

I've managed to keep away from it for the past few months. Then, a couple days ago, I discovered they've finally introduced stained glass ... and found a save file for half-finished project for a kilometre-long cathedral that I made instead of working on finals.

Holy crap!
Now, I will admit that this is a pretty, um, shall we say, understated dwelling, especially compared to these pieces of magnificent architecture. However, as it is a fully self-sufficient single player survival mode (on Normal) base, it strikes me as pretty good for what is my second try. (My first world was lost to a few errant clicks. Accidental deletion. Much wailing and gnashing of teeth ensued,) I am to engrossed with survival mode atm, but the big projects are being saved for creative mode. Though a good multiplayer server might help there.

Are you using any mods? Some of the textures (especially the torches, and those tapestries) don't appear in the game, or at least in the game as I have it.
