For a while now, something very obvious has seemed to escape the Brony Analysis Community, and it seems to have come to a head with this latest season finale. Toon Krytic Y2K was salty because Starlight Glimmer wasn't punished, and Silver Quill was a bit put out by the Mane Six being so critical to Equestria. He was annoyed by the ego that Twilight had about her friends being so important.
They finally make Diamond Tiara more than a one shtick pony, and give Silver Spoon a backbone... and the Cutiemark Crusaders... They get their cutiemarks because they're good at being... Cutiemark Crusaders and helping others figure out THEIR true selves?! WHAT?! What the freak?! I... still...
This has to be the BEST Equestria Girls Movie, yet. The plot was interesting, the characters were well done and funny. The antagonist, Principal Cinch, was hateable to the degree of UMBRIDGE. My GOD, that WOMAN! She... is that world's Umbridge... She really really is.
And... Trenderhoof, and Fleur at Crystal Prep? Did you see 'em, too?
The map was a unique addition, and the village of the Stepford Smilers was rather unique local.
And we may have a vision of what would have happened if Twilight Sparkle a. tried to make friends and had it go wrong, and b. went totally evil. But this Starlight Glimmer didn't seem to have Twilight's social awkwardness...
If you've been keeping up with my stories, you'll have probably noticed that I've canceled the Canterlot High Chronicles. One: I feel like it is not, really my story as such. It's not one that focuses on Sour Grapes and the Storm Riders, but instead Private Eye, and Twilight Sparkle, and all the humanized versions of Jacoby1's characters, and their relationships. Two: With the release
[hugs]
I'll take a screen shot next time.
