In which I ramble about Diamond Dogs.
What are Diamond Dogs, within the context of the show? Essentially, momentary partial-villains. They kidnap Rarity, enslave her momentarily and then just let her go after she harasses them enough with her amazing mare-whine attacks.
Of course she annoys dogs, it's why she owns a cat.
But we never got answers in canon as to what Diamond Dogs DO. How they function. Do they have their own country? Or are they just tribal packs, living on the edges of civilization in Equestria? Do they have their own language? What do they eat? Do they have a religion?
None of those, and myriad others we could pose as viewers, are answered directly. So much of what we do is respond with fanon, and so far, I'd say we bronies who enjoy the Dogs of Diamonds have done a good job. I applaud all of you magnificent son of a bitches.
