it's strange, I got through the description and introducing the two, but now, just as Rarity is supposed to make the first strike, I can't bring myself to write it... It could be because there are many other stories to read that I really want to read, but still... I'll probably finish it sone time tonight. I'm just glad. Well, here we are, mere chapters from finishing the APR storyline and my eventual moving on to different, yet still somewhat related, fics. Now, there is a a piece on his profile page that SAYS that it's still in progress, but the epilogue is up, so I assume it's done, whether it says so or no. Now, this one may take a while to get a review out, as I hadn't read it because I hate to be kept waiting by in progress stories, so I may have to take some time to read it, though after that, the fic i have lined up, I've read all that I felt i must. So we'll have another sprint of inspired writing not unlike when i started this blog. :)
Anyway, on to the fic. I've got to say, before we begin, as usual, this was most definitely a clopfic, though it certainly leaves out the details. I actually REALLY appreciated this. It seemed to focus so much more on the actual development of the relationship than the acts performed. Again, I prefer it to be even MORE drawn out than 2 one-shots, but I can also understand, via the characteristics given to their relationship, why it went by so fast, and I'm actually glad for it, as it will provide a great psychological support structure for Rainbow. (As you can probably tell, in school, right now, I am studying psychology, and I'm a little more obsessed with it than a majority of my fellow classmates, so you may hear a lot of psychological terminology, though certainly nowhere near as advanced as most on the subject.) This actually provides the chance for EVEN MORE conflict, come the next fic, and I honest to god can't wait until i finish it and start to rant and rave to you guys!
So, in closing, it's a great fic, hell, the whole oneshot series is great, and provides some good development for the characters and so intimate relationship building while keepin it somewhat hush-hush to the audience. A fantastic idea, and I'm honestly glad he wrote it.
The next installment we'll be reading will be "Rainbow After The Storm" once more by MP06, and it is set shortly after the reading of The Journal (see why i got you to read that then rather than now, so the sickening lurch didn't make you sick?) Anyway, here's the links.
