Eh, I hiatus'd all my stories due to school and writer's block, so I got bored, and started doing this. Note: contains half-researched statistics that I did almost zero effort on.
Ponies most likely to be a robot: Princess Celestia (CelestAI) approx. 39. Sweetie Belle (SweetieBot) approx. 35.
Runner ups: Twilight Sparkle (TW1L1GHT 5P4RKL3) about 3, Rainbow Dash (Rainbow Unicorn Attack) at least 1, Vinyl Scratch (V1NYL 5CR4TCH) at least 3, Apple Bloom (see that one story where she's a transformer) at least 1.

Actually, the number of stories that reference Doctor Who/Whooves but isn't a direct crossover is in the 300s, so take my estimate of 365 and double it. I don't know, but the day someone makes a group for references or shout-outs is the day I join it. It is going to be hard work just find them, though.

No it's not. People will join, and will add things as they recognize references. The hard part will be getting the group known. (Well, and adding folders for all the referenced bodies of work.)
(For example: the fic Whom the Princesses Would Destory... has references to Nethack, HPLovecraft's Cthulhu mythos, possibly Superman/DC Comics, Yes Minister, and Bioshock; and that's just the stuff I know about.)
However, some things have their own groups. There's a group dedicated to Issac Asimov-related stories, for example.
