I have, in fact, been writing recently. The lack of posted stories is more because the ideas haven't been coming together quite right. However, I have recently managed to make something of one of them. The results should be more or less publishable tomorrow after a fresh read-through and the all important description crafting.
The story started as a crackfic idea from Rainbow Bob several months back. He was grumbling that there had been Scootadopt all over the featured box, so I said "Hey, why not have Scoots adopt filly Dash and Twi because reasons?" As the idea developed, I realized I had some sad Scootaloo, but the crack adoption plot was not going anywhere. I decided to drop the crackfic and flesh out the Scootasad. Hence the story.
This story aims to be an experience more than anything, so too much detail here would take away from it. Expect melancholy, atmosphere, stark prose, and a focus on description.
In other news, I may have something for a quicker than planned ending to Kumberbuzzles Over Canterlot. It won't be pretty, but it will at least bring some closure while keeping with the spirit of the rest of the story. Stay tuned.
