No one really reads these blogs so I might as well just use them as big notes that can't possibly be spoilers since they are the extend of what I've planned for a story idea thus far.
I'm part of a group here called Straight Shipping and every once in a while they give a story theme contest challenge. They give you a certain romance theme with certain elements that they will judge and have voting contest against others and after a generous amount of time you must at least have one chapter done even if the story isn't complete so it can be entered. After a vote the winner gets his/her story featured on the front page from what I recall.
The theme for this contest right now is (Romance a midst adversity) which according the guy who thought of the theme means "A romance story in which the conflict and plot is not driven exclusively by the romance, but by elements of adventure as well."
It started 4 weeks ago and I just recently thought of a concept and by no surprise its a crossover concept but this one I might actually get out of my head and on to the site. Times up for submission by April 30th though so I'm not to bugged.
The story I'm trying to crossover without hopefully feeling to much like I'm just copy pasting an existing story and changing the names,is a not to unknown or popular horror spoof called "Tucker & Dale vs Evil". Its one of those rare spoof movies that doesn't feel to forced with over exaggeration of what their spoofing and actually has a few genuine tender moments. I recommend looking up the movie before you read the shame I'm gonna attempt with it. Anyone with experience in writing or examining crossovers such as Best Night Ever or silent ponyville,would be majorly helpful with advise on what to avoid.
The story will have the following characters and you can guess who will die or not and who I'm still debating to use if you want.

5.Suri Polomare or fleetfoot
