    Elder Scrolls Online

Hurray for Skyrim Elder Scrolls Online!

So yeah, I'm having fun with it so far, but I'm not entirely certain it's worth 60$ + a monthly subscription. I can't recommend it, but if anyone already has it, I'd love to play with you. My gamer tag is Terrahex

    March State of the Author

Here we are at the end of the month. I suppose that means it's time to address all (two) of the people who care.

    Attack on Titan

    (No Spoilers)
So I finally got around to finishing Attack on Titan. I've been meaning to for months, but as much as I love it, it's definitely not something that you watch when you want to have a good time.

    February State of Affairs

Oh boy. another one of these posts, though now that I've titled it by month, I might just make this a monthly thing. it would certainly give me a reason to stop deleting these when they become irrelevant. a timeline of sorts.

Anyway, since I know not everyone cares about the intricacies of my life, important things will be bolded.

    Prologue scraps

Because it started to get off topic, I was forced to cut off the latter half of my prologue for The Monster that is Me. I couldn't bring myself to delete it since it's still the way that I picture the story going after Midnight meets Greyscale. However, it detracted from where the story was going way too much for me to put it anywhere in the story itself.

Attack on Titan · 7:40am Mar 24th, 2014

(No Spoilers)
So I finally got around to finishing Attack on Titan. I've been meaning to for months, but as much as I love it, it's definitely not something that you watch when you want to have a good time.

But when I finished season 2 after half a dozen intense and fingernail biting fights, I realized that Attack on Titan does one thing better than any other book, anime, or movie I've ever digested. It establishes very early on that any character can die and that any fight can be lost. Characters that the animators have spent building up and implying have a bright future die and fights that look bright turn sour. I can't describe the feelings this anime makes me feel.

This isn't to mention the themes central to the story or how unafraid the show is to get gritty and show its teeth. I'd go into detail, but I'd never be able to pin down every reason why Attack on Titan is awesome.
