    Next Story Plans - A Sneak Peek

    So.. resuming work may have been overstating things...

    Much as I mean to be working on this story, I've instead found myself developing ideas for a Doctor Whooves fic, "Aurora", which focuses on a teenage Ace traveling with the Doctor. I've figured out a monster of the week, its motivation, and for the most part its defeat. Now it's a case of scenes from Point A to Point B which is, in fact, where I'm stymied in Rest of the Time.

    Just Finished Watching "Twilight Time."

    Just finished Twilight Time and I'm beginning to wonder if I can even do a story about Sweetie Belle and stage fright now. She a bunch of grandstanding show in the end in a desperate attempt make up to Twilight. She's also noticably more confident in recent episodes. Even back in Hearts & Hooves Day, most of those antics were her idea, just as in this episode.

No so much a review as my immediate impressions in regards to my own fanfic ideas:

The Good News: The fact that dreams can be used to witness memories is canon. Which works nicely with Nightmare in Old Equestria.

The Bad News: My fanfic idea for Sweetie Belle's getting her Cutie Mark by overcoming stage fright is pretty much non-canon now. If she can write, direct, and star in a play she has no real stage fright issues. Might still be workable, since my idea was based on Sweetie Belle believing she was a legitimately bad singer, but it'd be a stretch.

Overall I really enjoyed the episode. Of course it has Luna and my favorite CMC in-show (Scootaloo's my favorite in fanon) so there was little doubt about that.
