TV Tropes article, episode review, group idea, and fanfic progress. No I am not feeling witty today · 9:57pm Mar 15th, 2014
I'll start by saying that if you favorite Gimme Shelter, you'll be seeing this even if you don't follow me, since I would like to inform you that Gimme Shelter now has a TV Tropes article, if you would like to read or edit it. (Also am making a blog post period today because I have a lot to say, and am not worried about my usual low read count on my blogs)
Episode review
Anyway, I just finished watching Maud Pie and have this to say: it was the most boring episode I have yet seen of the show. Maud just doesn't work for me at all, and everything fell apart because of that. I know a lot of people like her, but I'm not one of them, since I simply do not enjoy characters taken to either extreme of enthusiasm (why Pinkie is my least favorite of the mane six). Others have compared her to Raven from Teen Titans, but I'm not seeing it personally.
Group idea
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with this, after I put so much work into it (and I know it's ridiculous to think that way), but I created a birthday group (don't bother trying to join. It's closed at the moment) with a full ruleset and details, but I'm not sure I want to run it or whether it's a good idea in the first place. It would work by allowing people to have stories written for them for their birthdays, in return for writing stories for other people's birthdays or significantly contributing to the group in another fashion.
Fanfic progress
I'm working hard on the last chapter of The Return of Mr. Bun, and am about 75% done (I'm just easily distracted is all). Also, I've found a way past my writer's block in regards to Luna Looks for Love, though that will have to wait until I'm done wit The Return of Mr. Bun.
