My OC is in a music video · 12:41am Mar 14th, 2014
So I don't know how many of you know or remember my OC Mehrunes Dagon Razor from the still untouched story The Misadventure of Razor and Daedalus (which I might return to after I finish Wake up. See this. What do? ...... maybe) and currently has a more relevant role in the story that I am co-writing with my good friend on this site KenSES64 called Dimensional Battle Royale which stars both his OC and mine.
Anyway, regardless of whether you remember him or not (he's also made numerous cameos in Wake up. See this. What do? by the way), my fellow friend and fimfiction user Unique SKD animated him in his short little music video, which you can watch below, that he made for thanking his fans.
(Razor is the one on the drums)
So yeah.... Unique SKD...
You all should really check him out.
He doesn't release stories all that often, but he does post poems a lot (sometimes they are about ponies, sometimes they aren't), and can write decently, so he has that going for him.
So yeah.... check him out. It'll be worth your time.
COOLOKBAI
Did Razor get a hair cut?
But hey I shouldn't nitpick, I can't draw at all, so yeah.
1923740 The thing was that I was given the actual drawing of his OC, and I found it hard to draw his OC from a frontal point of view properly, since I am still kinda new to the whole animation thing, so I'd like to think I actually gave it a good shot at the very least. It was all of that hair that threw me off a little, but the actual fault is my own. Obviously. XD
I mean, I'm still learning how to draw these things properly. I admit now I might have done this sort of animation a bit too early while my abilities are still novice-level, but I took a chance and I did my best with what little I had. So, I have no regrets.
When and if I ever improve my skills, I'll venture back to this video and try to improve it more, give it the justice it deserved.
Normally, I am better at drawing on paper than on a computer board, so my way of animating is to sketch out a scene on paper, photograph it, and upload it onto my computer, and use Photoshop to trace the images, and draw in the limbs and stuff to represent the idea of movement or life. I understand if you or anyone else would think me a cheat for using this method, but I could argue that I'm using my own drawings as templates, so I'm at least not stealing other works.
Anyways, I will try to improve my abilities as I go on, so anyone who watches my crap and gives me at least an A for effort has my gratitude.
Keep it real, RazortheAwesome! Wooooo!
