I have come to realised that people are using alot of the same story concepts bieng posted to FIM, so I have decided to give 100 original (hopefully original) story ideas for writers to use. I will go from fantasy, cross-overs all the way to sci-fi. (will be updated over time)
1) The elements of harmony have created a weapon of unimaginable power in the everfree forest, who is the first to find it?
2) A pony of unknown origin has been seen in many stories and pictures throughout time, Who is this pony?
3) A Human doctor has been teleported to canterlot to help with the surge of sick ponies due to a plague.
4) A griffin comes to equestria to start a new life from the griffon colonies (not alot of stories with a griffon as the main character, well I think so anyway)
5) A human police detective is investigating a series of disappearances due to a strange light?
6) A 4th generation spartan from the ship infinity uses a mod to the simulators to recreate his favorite show from many generations ago.
7) A lost boy "human or a different species" is found by a passing griffin knight and takes him under his wing to learn the ways of becoming a knight.
8) King arthur of camelot has been teleported to equestria and befriends a distress princess celestia who has banished her sister to the moon.
9) Twilight finds a really old house in the middle the everfree forest, what secrets and stories does this house hold?
10) A 6 yr old boy from a orphanage was on his bed trying not to cry due to a recent accident that killed his parents and sent him to a neraby orphanage, but a flash of light and he seems to be in the middle of nowhere surrounded by stars and a lighted floor, infront of him is a distressed 6 yr old purple filly bieng chased by stange shadows(potential reason is due to the sonic rainboom activiating twilight powers that teleports her and him to that place where twilight becomes a alicorn). After some time when both the boy and filly have been saved from that strange world "by celestia or other", the boy is than taken under a man's (king arthur, or some man "other species" of important origin) wing in order to become a "knight, protector, wizard, student, ect".
11) A mobile suit pilot while fighting the zeon forces "EU or whatever series you want" is strucked by a white light, by the time he comes to his senses, he finds himself and his suit in the middle of a forest. Concealing his suit in camouflage he scouts the nearest settlement and determines his choices on what to do, but a battle begins at the outskirts of the town. Pony`s trying to fend off these golem like biengs with crystal imbedded into the hands and chest. The crystal in the hand of the golems lights up and fires a series of blasts to the pony`s homes. Will the mobile suit pilot care for these pony`s and help out?
12) A dragon is seen traveling the world and discovering new treasures to add to his hoard. "meets up with someone and begins a adventure or whatever you basically want from this"
13) Twilight creates a mirror that can see into other alternate worlds, but comes to find a human, and he can see and hear from the mirror.
14) A Pony/Dragon hybrid has been put in charge in protecting a important asset "elements of harmony, mane 6, other" to the princesses.
15) A robotic entity is created from magic and is sent out to learn from the world.
16) Rainbow dash while flying to canterlot see's a weird sight, a broken down airship flying accross the sky, she goes there to investigate.
17) Fluttershy decides to buy the spore game and goes a bit obssesive over it.
18) A man bieng transported to the "griffin colonies, dragon plains, other" goes around the world finding a place to be called home.
19) A human in equestria is given a chance to recreate one of his favorite movies in theatre when he is given the director seat in Las Pagasus and gives the mane 6 each a role.
20) A Changeling discusses with a griffin about the troubles of being a predetor in a pony nation.
21) A lone timber wolf is given sentience when he/she touches the tree of harmony, what will he/she do with this given free will to think and choose?
22) A Trooper "Species chosen from mass-effect" from the palaven war zone is fighting for his/her life against the reaper manence. During the fighting the ground below him/her breaks apart and he is in a strange prothean building. While exploring he/she reaches a strange device, a Prothean AI appears and tells him they were trying to build a teleportation device to escape the galaxy in order to save themself's from bieng wipeout, but sadly took too long to build and the AI finished production. It has enough power for one jump.....
23) A human discusses with a pony about "insert random subject" and turns into a serious debate over something so silly
24) A minotaur living in Las pagasus with a job as a bouncer listens in the interesting gossip the gambling patrons are talking about.
25) A lost colt walking through the streets of canterlot bounced into a depressed city guard. The city gaurd doing his duty escorts the lost colt to his parents and while walking discusses why the guard is so sad, and maybe a innocent and simple mind can help unwind a crazy situation.
26) A inventor of long range weapons and other mystical creations, a griffin craftsman travels the equastrian land hunting legendary beasts.
27) Spike while helping rarity with some gem hunting finds a peculiar gem within a Dark cave. The gem was shaped like a hour glass and was in a deep red colour. When spike went to pick up the gem, it shine a big bright like blinding him and knocking him out. When he came to he was in a strange place all he can see is white as far as the eye could see. "Hello", Spike yelps and turns around seeing a "species chosen, human, griffin pony" He/she look like a strong warrior. "It has finally come" He/She says. "What do you mean? Were am I? Spike asks quite frantic. The "species chosen" Looks into his eyes, "You are the chosen protector of "Select subject, Elements of harmony, mane six, princess twilight ect" and I have been waiting here for a long time to train the chosen one for the troubles ahead", "Now for what this place is, you can say it gives its owners all the time in the world and control of its surrondings". All of the sudden the castle materializes right infront of him, mountains forming, trees growing, By the time its finish they are in a beautiful landscape infront of the castle. "We are going to be here for a very long time, maybe years until you can go back." The "Species chosen" states. "But what about my friends at ponyville! I dont want to abondon them!" Spike realizing the situation. "Nothing to worry about, in this place time is meaningless." "By the time you are done, a second would have pass in the real world and a warrior ready for the challenges ahead"..... Ya this is a pretty big idea I just had lol, its not perfect and pretty silly, but if you want to use it you can and even change it up alot.
28) A lone night guard takes a stroll around ponyville, tonight is his first night to watch over the citizens of ponyville and well he was pretty bored after a few hours, but all of a sudden he hear's weeping near a nearby alley....
29) Ponies say its the weapon that truly matters, but in reality its the user thats the most important aspect. Can somepony really pick up a sword and really end a ponies life? Although the most important question to ask is..... How much are you willing to do to save someponies life?
30) A lone wreck spaceship is floating around the blue planet. No light, never moving. How did it get there? Why is it so alone? Is there even anyone Alive? How come Luna never realized this until now and not centuries ago? Are the ponies of earth willing to investigate such a strange and possibility dangerous ship?
31) A lone minatour has finally reached ponyville to live a different life. To forget what he has done as a mercenary, and hopefully say sorry to a pony he has unintentionally hurt.
32) Some people have said that humanity is shades of grey when it comes to morality. That we would prefer to save ourself's, family or friends than to help a stranger in need. Sadly that's the case with alot of things in life. Is it the same for ponies as well?
33) A few gems, these very small gems have the power to purify and fight allmighty foes of destruction. A few gems, that unified a nation. A few gems, that started it all. So if these few gems can do all of that. Is it possible there are even more powerful gems that can do all of this and more?
34) Space dandy in equestria.....That is all.
35) A team was assembled. A team of different species (pegasus, unicorn, earth pony, dragon, minatour, griffin). This team has one purpose....... to look after the mane 6.
36) When I look into a particular mirror, I always have this feeling that something is looking back at me. I even check behind the wall, around the sides for cameras. I even used electrical readings to detect anything out of the ordinary. So how come any other mirror its okay, but for this one? Wait what was that....
37) (grimdark) The diamond dogs would occasionaly take ponies as slaves for labour (and sadly other horrible fates) when they get the chance ...... Rarity was lucky, but what about the others?
38) There is a light at every tunnel. I saw mine, yet when I reached there Instead of the heaven I was promised, I got something else entirely different......
39) I had one bullet left.....Just one bullet left. That can have alot of power..... the power of life and death is in my hand.....yet I can't end it like this.....No matter how much pain I suffered....I can't end my hatred enemy, nor myself.....I am to weak..... Yet I used that bullet on something else entirely different..... Something that will change my life for the better and worse.......
40) You could say I am a special type of pony. No not like the alicorns, or the pegasi or even the earth pony. No you could say I am entirely different yet the same. My mother was a unicorn pony, yet my father was a little different. We don't know where he came from, but he was a very loving father and I will never forget the knowledge he gave me to deal with the troubles ahead of me......
41) Spiders have been sighted in many towns, spiders the size of houses roaming the edges of these towns. Any attempts to attack the spiders would scare them away, only for them to come back again. The Ponies do not know why they have not attacked yet, and why they seem to be waiting for something? Although Lucky for them, Daring doo is up for the task to solve this mystery. (Thanks nyxknight for the help of this idea)

Thanks :), Im planning on making alot more. I Seem to been having a huge surge of idea`s. So expect more to come. If you know any other writers that are in need of a good idea send them here or the thread I posted on the writers group.
