Sorry for the lack of updates last week. I had intended on publishing another chapter, but unfortunately Mother Nature decided to take a shit on me during the last parts of last week. As I'm sure that most of you are aware, a lot of the US had a pretty nasty yet short storm to pass over many areas of it last week. Unfortunately, my home was hit hard, untand cause some severe structural damage due to water run off from the mountains that it is built half way into.
I live in a 2 story apartment in which half is underground with only the front showing on the bottom. I live downstairs, my sis and her kids live upstairs. Anyway, there is a large crack in the side of the brick support wall downstairs. This caused some erosion and flooding into my downstairs dwelling. The leak happened while I was asleep so I didn't know about it until I woke up to take a piss in the middle of the night. The flooding caused the following damages.
Carpet in bedroom, hall and living room ruined and removed. $800
Severe drywall damage, needs replaced $500
Cracked brick wall which is also slightly sunken into the ground $5000
Destroyed electronics $2300
So then, as you can see, I am in quite the pickle, and I would like to say this as well. I don't have insurance on my home. Although now I'm looking to get some. But for now, expenses are coming out of pocket.
I've already replaced my bed which was damaged, but that took this months car payment to get it. The couch was destroyed and tossed. The electronics are drying and most can be salvaged. Several power supplies burned out though so blah.

You guys dont have to donate but every little bit helps. I've temporarily fixed the leak wit several tarps and sandbags, along with some wood to divert water. This place needs a lot of work atm, and I am currently staying with my folks. They have uber slow internet here which sucks.
So please, if anyone can help please do. I am in the process of doing odd jobs to accumulate money. But in this town, that's hard.
