A story (possibly) in the making · 3:34am Feb 23rd, 2014
So it’s three a clock here where I’m living. I can’t sleep because unfortunately napping for eight hours in the middle of the day will do that to you but….
I think I have an idea for a Romantic Comedy I might do. Though I haven’t got all the details right now, I think I have an outline of the plot.
Simply I’ll ship the mane six (in what groupings I’m unsure of. Though there will be a love square. Yeah kind of sounds stupid when you say it like that) and Discord will play matchmaker and manipulator because despite this site having a load of comedic stories featuring Discord, the fandom now has a severe lack of villain stories featuring Discord anymore. Of course he’ll still be the comedic part of the story. He’ll just have ulterior motives for what he’s doing.
But just because he’s reformed doesn’t mean that he won’t try and screw everyone over. I mean Q does that all the time in Star Trek. I’m rambling aren’t I?
Anyway it’ll just be a mess of shipping from the get go with it so I can shove as much stupidity into it as possible. Which would be nice considering how serious Being Royalty has gotten over the past few chapters.
Well give me a shout if you want to see or not because in truth I actually might forget about it in like two days if I’m not careful.
Oh I liked today’s episode as well. Finally the writers flaunt around Twilight as a princess. You know someone we should be looking up to. Though the scene where she’s eating is pretty funny though.

It has promise. You could play with Discord's unpredictable personality too and have him switch up the pairings from time to time because he decides they just don't work until... well, something.
1866369 I'm thinking of titling it the 'The Shipmaster' after you know that real crappy 90's movie the Pagemaster ( you probably don't) except replacing the books with shipping material and the bad writing with bad writing...with romance!!!!!

I actually do remember that movie. I have a long memory and I'm probably older than you think. McCaullie Culkin (spelling?) If that's the amount of cheese and bad you're going for, Celestia help you. Celestia help us all.
Okay... It wasn't THAT bad. But I remember the animation style didn't do anything for me, and Culkin was annoying... and there was so much more they could have done. I mean, good grief, they had all of literary history to play with.
Still... Poke me or message me or post a blog or something. It'd be interesting to hear your ideas.
1871353 Don't worry I am not following any sort of plot from the pagemaster. I just wanted to reference the title. Though the idea of Twilight making her way through different books from her youth is intriguing hmmmm......
Anyway I'll be doing another blog post with a short description of the story.
If you really just want to know what is going to happen( ie the basic plot outline) I could always message you if you wanted. Good to know someone is partly intrigued by this new abomination I'm working on.
