    Mission Accomplished

I'm in the apartment and making more than enough to pay for it. About. Damn. Time.

Working on getting internet set up, but all in all, I'm set. A huge thanks to all those who helped me out over the past eight or so months. I owe you guys everything.

    Recent Events

The past few weeks have been interesting to say the least.

So as I mentioned in the last blog post, for a while there, Babies 'R' Us was fucking me over on hours. This resulted in a paycheck where I was a full 180 dollars short to pay rent, let alone any other bills. I had to scramble to get help and I ended up royally pissing off the person renting me the room.

    An Interesting Turn of Events

So, I'm still in that room-for-rent with the crazy roommates because I need to save up more money before I can leave. For once, the serious life-altering issue happened not to me, but to the one other roommate that has a job and makes money: he got laid off. This means it's increasingly likely, given the fact that they are, to begin with, a month late on their rent, going to be evicted soon, and

    Back into the Fire

    Yet another personal blog.

So some of you will remember that I moved into a room-for-rent at a local house near my two jobs.

So far, my stay here has been an utter train wreck.

    Lucky

Lucky is what I've been lately. It's fitting MidnightDancer always used Caramel to represent me in her stories, as I've been on a real lucky streak lately.

The Big Plunge, the Big Gamble · 6:56am Feb 21st, 2014

Howdy. As y'all may have seen my previous blogs, you know that I've been dealing with homelessness and underemployment as of late. I managed to get back in my parents house for a time and now have a second job, but unfortunately the parents are booting me out in a week and I have nowhere to go. The homeless shelter I was at won't take me back in until next December, and the one I was looking at in Dallas has an age requirement for men of 45 or older. (Yet women can get in for 18 or older, for some reason I cannot comprehend) This means that I will very likely be sleeping rough in a field out in the rural area of Collin County in my truck, eating food that requires no preparation at all, and paying friends to let me use their shower so I don't reek like a hobo and can keep my job.

Now, my goal right now is to struggle to find an apartment, that does not require a cosigner, as my parents refuse to cosign for me. I also need to save up money for deposit, application fee, deposits for utilities, and first month's rent. Once I've gotten that money set aside I should be able to move forward with my life on my own terms rather than living in this shitty string of painful events I call my life.

To all of you who have offered monetary assistance in previous blogs, now would be the time I could use your help. Now is the time I need a lump sum of actual hard cash and not secured income over a long period of time, because I'm not going to get paid soon enough for that to work with me. While it pains me to ask, if you wish to pass me some money to help me get enough money for an apartment, then you can send some to my PayPal at cripplecowboycowoutfit@gmail.com. If you help me, you basically get a big I.O.U. from me. What you do with that is up to you. I'll probably attempt to repay everything y'all give me in time, but I really need help right now.

If no one is able to send money, that's alright too. I can wait for a month or two and save it up myself. I just would appreciate accelerating that process as much as possible.

Thank you for reading. It humbles me to know that there are people who actually care about me out there, random strangers I've never met. I come to you at my lowest today, and maybe one day soon I can build myself back up.

I'll see what I can do. I dunno if I can offer much, since I've got no idea what an apartment costs in Texas, but... would $300 do anything? If I can get that much out onto PayPal, anyway.

I'll see what i can scrounge up in the next week or so. it won't be too much, so I can't promise something big, but I'll at least try... Good luck! :unsuresweetie:

Well, compared to $300, I doubt my paltry $20 will do much. But I hope it helps some.

Dear lord absolutely it would.

Thank you! Anything helps.

20 bucks goes father than you might think.

Believe me, any kind of lump sum you can offer does wonders, seriously. Be it $20 or $300, everything is a step towards a goal.

If I were to get 300 dollars, it wouldn't be enough for an apartment, but it would be enough to get a room-for-rent, which would allow me to bide my time and save up some money to get an apartment. Basically 300 dollars is literally buying me time.

Help me win the damned T-shirt contest and the prize is yours.

1862326
I couldn't take that prize. I'd feel absolutely horrible. I'd love to help you win the contest, though. Let me call in some favors. When does it end?

1862513 It will be running until November, with the most popular design picked every two weeks. There are still 20 more winners to be picked, and mine is placed 9th right now, so if nothing else changed, that would set me up to win around June. But there will surely be some awesome new designs landing until then, so I may end up not winning at all.

I'm telling you, I don't really care about the prize money at this time. I just want to know if I'm good enough and have enough say in this community to win something. If I win and you're still in need at the time, it's going to help you.
