First Story, 'The Big Respawn' is up. · 12:35am Oct 1st, 2011
I am very nervous, having just submitted not only my first story for FimFiction.net, but what is also my very first fanfic ever. While I have written and co-written many things in the past, including two unsuccessful novels (http://www.pasteldefender.com/ishtarmain.html and http://jenniverse.com/urbanmain.html), never before have I dared tread on the universes made by others. Here I am stomping all over two at once: the Friendship Is Magic cosmos, and the Conversion Bureau fan cosmos spun from it.
I must be a, as they say, foal to do this. And right now I feel like one.
That said, I cannot help but hope that my submission will be accepted, and maybe, just maybe, even liked by somepony.
I have no doubt there will be endless things wrong with my story, which will doubtless be kindly pointed out, but I must remember that all anyone can do is their best, and in that, I did. Besides, no matter how many times a story is combed over, there will always be mistakes and issues. Writing is never 'done' it feels like to me, only given up as 'good enough'.
