I'm a new author trying to balance writing with my career in the USAF.

    Looking for Feedback...

Hey all, kind of a quick post to those who have followed me (thanks, by the way!) to put out a few feelers as to an idea I've been kicking around. Going back through The Royal Thief, I realized I opened up a lot more rabbit trails than I had intended to, and was thinking of doing a bit of a rewrite. What do you guys (and gals) think? It would change the plot a bit and keep everything a little

    Delays, future updates

Alright, so here's the deal for those of you who follow me/check my stuff. Work's been getting kind of nuts, so my productivity levels when it comes to The Royal Theif have been suffering a bit. On top of that, I caught myself slacking somewhere in the middle of chapter 18, so I'm working on fixing that and posting it as soon as possible. That being said, I'm presently working on

BLUF: I've started pilot training so The Royal Thief and any future projects are on the back burner for now.

Still with me? OK, so here's the deal. I've recently started pilot training, of the military variety. The next year is going to be incredibly stressful and hectic, and I simply will not have the time to write. My mental faculties, as it were, will be largely occupied by memorizing checklists, emergency procedures, maneuvers, and the like, and writing, especially creatively takes a lot more effort than I will be able to put forth. The Royal Thief is not canceled, just on hiatus, and anything outside of that has been pushed aside, despite what I said in my last blog post.

That being said, I am willing to accept any reasonable questions any of you have. They can pretty much encompass anything you can come up with, regarding pilot training, the military, the show, life in general, whatever. I am also willing to take on any editing jobs you may have, just route through the proofreader group (gotta get credit). I'll have time for reading here and there, since I'll need to decompress at some point, otherwise I'm going to burn out, likely in a dramatic fashion.

Thanks one and all for the support you've shown me thus far, and I hope I can reciprocate at some point. Who knows, I might find some free time to write, you never know.
