Remember how awhile ago I said that I was working on a collaborative project? Well we're several chapters in and are thinking about releasing the first chapter in a few days.
After the failed invasion attempt by Chrysalis, and the subsequient reparation by the changelings, Equestria and the Emerald kingdon have entered a new era great economic and social social expansion. Leaning on each other for expanded opportunity, Equestria and the Emerald Kingdom seek to solidfy their international bonds, increasing secuirty for both nations.
This, however, does not please every one. Powerful parties poised to lose their claims to power over both nations pull the strings from the shadows and disrupt the shifting powers between the nations to their advantage, seeking to undo the threats to their power.
As the world turns, both nations seem oblivious to the plots forming in their underbellies, but when a mysterious stallion stumbles into the life of a young guard, hidden plots begin to reveal themselves.
That's a rough idea for the long summary.
