Sure, Tender/Trenderhoof was an annoying character, but when is there not an annoying character you have to deal with?
The moment he saw Applejack and hearts started flying around, my heart sunk and fire surrounded me.

That's not strange, is it?
Anyways.

So, the entire episode was about staying the way you are despite whether or not you get who you want to love you.
Any Tender/Trenderhoof and Applejack shipfics will be completely ignored by me, for future reference. Just want to point that out.
