And, finally, my first story on this site, Star Bolt, Son of the Moon. Now, way back in October, I noticed this got shown on the suggestion list on Spacebattles, and noticed something someone said-
Eh... I never much cared for the Harry Potter fanfics that exaggerated his abuse at the hands of the Dursleys. I also don't really see the point of a crossover if you are pretty much just going to grab a character from one setting and chuck him into another while changing the character so drastically in the process that he is no longer recognizable, physically or mentally, as the original character (how can it even be considered a crossover at that point?). So that's two strikes against it.
I dunno, maybe things will change in future chapters. I guess I'll keep an eye on it.
And you know...He was right. With no more intaraction with the HP world, it starts becoming less of a crossover, which I want it to remain...
So I sat and thought, I thought at home, I thought at work, and I have spawned whole new ideas for Pony history, possible story futures and the like, which leads to this...
-I have formulated story arcs which will play a good part in things. This also means some episodes will be shuffled around for story reasons (Or simple nitpicky reasons, like Winter Wrap Up coming after Fall Weather Friends) some will be glossed over as not involving the main characters enough or condensed
-the HP world will still be playing a part, and a rather serious one in the future (And no, that's not pun implication Sirius will be showing up, I have absolutely nothing planned for him yet)
-Some ideas I am fairly certain are original pertaining to the MLP universe as well as past interactions with the HP universe.
So I hope to have the next chapter out soon, maybe in a week or two, but I still have a fair amount of planning to do as well.
And that is all for this update...Feels good to get things off my chest...I may have to do this more...
This story has interested me since I first read it, and I can't wait for there to be more story!
