Howdy Readers,
This past week was very productive! For new followers, I try to post a blog update every Sunday to show I'm still alive and committed. It forces me to look back over the past week, and it also lets anyone who's interested see if I'm still alive!
I was able to get my Daring Do story fully edited and ready for release, but I'm struggling with the cover art. I hope to publish the story this coming week. It will be released in two parts, probably not more than a day or so apart from each other, since the story has a natural break. I'm really happy to publish this story, but that doesn't mean I've forgotten my others! Bon Hadescream's next update will be released soon, I delayed it in order to polish up this next part of the arc.
Something really awesome happened the other day! I sat down to (finally) watch Rarity Takes Manehattan, and saw Rarity buy Spike a carrot-dog. Several months ago I penned the idea that ponies would use carrots, or a mash of vegetable trimmings if whole carrots were in short supply, to make "hot-dogs" without meat. I originally leaned toward the idea of them using a mash, since sausage really is a mix of the leftovers cuts from meat, but then decided to mention both as options in the latest chapter of Bon Hadescream. Imagine my delight when I watched The Show and found that I was thinking on the same wavelength as the designers of FiM!
Finally, that long-awaited followup to Love is its Own Reward and A Kiss and a Duty is taking form nicely. It has quite a bit more action than I first imagined, but I feel that suits Rarity's personality quite well.
