I need to stop making promises... · 5:07am Feb 1st, 2014
I promised that I'd have the One Hearth's Warming Eve sequel out by the end of January. Well, that time has come and gone, and I never did release it. I do have my reasons for it, which I will explain, but I realized I need to stop making promises because anything can happen that can change plans.
In this case, it's nothing that really happened in my life that forced to not write. It was more I got trapped in thinking that no matter what I did would not do justice to the original story. I began to question my original plans for it, and that led to me holding off. A week ago I decided that I should just stop working on this project and try again for a Christmas 2014 release. That should be plenty of time for me to figure out what I want to do for that story!
Now, what's to come? Well, now that I've lifted the weight of the OHWE sequel off my shoulders, I'm going to get back to planning a story that I've been working on. I'm not going to make any promises on when the story will be ready, or if it will be, just know that I am currently working on something and I HOPE to release it at some point in the future.
Anyway, that's this update. Hopefully I can stop being the world's slowest writer and actually get something done for y'all!
