Earning My Stripes

Fertile Ground is labeled with a mature tag. With this tag comes some expectation of certain violent or disturbing content, especially from anything with the Fallout moniker in the title. For quite some time the story has been sparse and not too detailed on these moments. This ends with the next chapter.

With this comes the added challenge of describing horrifying and disgusting things, a challenge that I, for better or worse, crave like chocolate cake and air. That said, it still is a challenge and that, along with other tools I've recently acquired, has added a great deal of time to the creation of this chapter. Well, that and the fact that I'm on page 14 and believe I'm only half-finished with it.

TL;DR: Writing is fun, but time-consuming. Expect an extended (for me) chapter for number 11.
