A Belated Introduction · 12:56am Jan 8th, 2014
Gentle hearts and wanderers of the internet,
Well, since I seem to have gathered enough attention, I might as well properly say something.
Firstly, a little about myself. In real life, some call me Drew, but here on the internet I go by many aliases, of which I will refrain from mentioning at this time. I live in a part of Texas where I get all of the humidity and none of the beach, as I always say. I'm currently a college student bent upon becoming a History major and proving to the world that not all liberal arts majors will always be broke.
On a similar note, I am a proud history buff, particularly about American military history. I have literally talked someone to sleep about World War II, an accolade I hold dearly (to be fair, it was midnight, but details, details). I have also dabbled in art and music, but not enough to say I'm proficient. Only in writing and editing will I claim that, and even that is still a work in progress. I will leave the offer that if you want some help or would just like a good ol' chat, feel free to PM me and we'll see from there.
I write whenever I get an good idea, the right mood, and time to spend, though a lot of it is spent on large story ideas. Like too many people, I write for fun and proofread/edit others' work, except with unhealthy doses of critical thinking and a compulsive need to cram as much as I can into the fewest words possible. Pony writing on a casual level has only come recently, whereas before I dabbled a fair bit in action and adventure stories about zombies or war, so far not both. I was one of those guys, and I still am in some ways.
However, expect a variety of things. I don't promise to be always writing the most cheerful stuff, but I don't live everyday in gloom and sorrow. I am working on what I call my 'flagship' story, which will be an action-adventure that dabbles in dark, so other than that, I will offer whatever comes to mind and seems, in my opinion, pleasing for all you good folks.
What to expect from this blog? Honestly, not even I have an answer. I guess you're just going to have to follow me and see for yourself.
Anyways, till next time,
Johanson
Sidenote: I also have another story on the delivery van at this very moment. I hope it gives some people a good chuckle!
Brilliant introduction
Also, liberal arts are cool
