My "Disappearance" and My "Resurrection"

Gentle hearts and explorers of the internet,

As some of you may not know, I am very much alive and still humming. I will have to admit however that I took a major leave of absence with the beginning of the school year. I also ended up spending a lot of time editing various projects, particularly keaton-furman-prower's Prince of the Night as it was going through a major overhaul.

Also, to be honest, I did take a bit of a break from writing. You see, I believe it is perfectly healthy for someone to take a break from something they love and go do other things. For me, that would be school, friendships, and some deep advancements into my irrational addiction for reenacting. My editing skills have also brought me onto numerous projects including a novel edit job and even a visual novel (still a developing thing, but I'll reveal more in the future). Yet I never stopped brainstorming folks. Through all of this, my mind was still weaving stories, and because of this I am all too ready to return back to writing like a lover I have not seen in years.

For those just interested in the horse words, right now I am making major headway on my flagship piece, which I hope to unveil sometime this year (for real). I had to eliminate a whole character from the story like as if she had been hit by a time ray, but it has cleared up a lot of issues I had earlier and made way for what I believe will be a smoother story. But for material in the near future, I have in hand a somewhat dated manuscript for a short fic I hope to publish soon any day now, possibly the next few weeks. It's a sad one, but more than that, a thought-provoking one. I also have a collaborative story I have been meaning to work on and one of my good brony friends agreed to work on it with me. It'll be a silly one, that I guarantee.
Regarding the edits and the revisions for my current work, notably Rainbow Dash: The Musical, currently I have little inspiration to work on it sadly. However, if anyone wishes to assist me on the effort, I may get back to it. Jury's still out on it, but for now my sights are set on other works.
