The next chapter of Mercy is almost done. I am apparently really bad with deadlines for writing, so all I will say is that it is close enough to my word minimum that I can post it once I feel the idea has moved forward enough. I've been thinking about characterization a lot during this chapter and have mad an effort to keep the characters true to themselves, but since I am a human being, my perception of the character is likely different from yours. Also, I feel that some of the characters are pretty one-dimensional so I have rounded them out with my own head cannon and whatnot. I appreciate all comments about characterization and whatnot, but to a certain extent, the characters will be a little off so that I can write the story I want to write. Thank you for your patience. I may or may not turn out a couple other one-off stories like To What Ends Will We Go, because that was really fun to write. Time will tell
