Jitters needs help

Hello everyone.
This is something that has been heavy on me for quite some time, but I need to find a home for my cat.
His name is Zidane, I have raised him for five years since he was a little kitten when I found him in a box.
Zidane is kind of jumpy, a bit on the dense side, and he’s not always the most social cat, but he’s not mean. He gets a little grumpy when you pick him up, but he’s never been one to attack anyone.
He’s lived with other pets before, including rodents, birds, and other cats, so he knows how to adapt and behave himself. (Still it’s always good to monitor any cat around small pets)
All and all, maybe he’s not the best cuddle buddy or lap pet, and he only really comes for affection on rare occasions or when he wants food, but he’s silly enough to leave an impression and be an entertaining house guest. (He is afraid of ceiling fans and blames them for all his misfortunes, which to him is pretty much anything that happens to him that doesn’t involve food)
Anyways, as much as I love him, I wont be able to take him with me because there are big dogs where I am going and I can’t afford his flight.
My old room mates can’t really keep him because of extra costs, and I don’t have many friends near me. My only friends available can’t take him because they already have too many pets to care for.
So, here’s the deal:
If you live within 50 miles of North Port, Florida, and you want to adopt this ridiculously stupid but adorable cat, PLEASE send me a fan-mail or an ask to my mod blog, http://jitterbugjive.tumblr.com
You’ll get his veterinary papers, his toys, a food dish, some of his food, and his favorite My Little Pony tent that he likes to hide in.
(He wont have a littler box or food bowls since they belong to the other cat in the condo)
He’ll come with a re-homing fee of 50$, y’know, to make sure he goes to a responsible owner and to pay for all his accessories that he’s coming with. (I’m sorry I just really want to be sure he goes somewhere safe that will love and care for him)
You’d also need to be willing to let my friend come in and check on him every few weeks or so to make sure everything is going alright, since he’s still my baby and I want to make sure he has a good home.
If more than one person offers to adopt him, we’ll go over the details with each person and find the best suitable home offered, so please be sure to include details of where he would be going (other pets, size of home)
