When It Rains, It Pours... · 12:47am Dec 20th, 2013
So, as many of you know, my truck broke down and I was stuck with my parents for a while. Also, you might know that I've been living in a homeless shelter for about two months now. You may be able to see where this is going.
When my truck broke down, I called the shelter and let them know that my truck broke down. I had to stay at my parents house for a while, and they would take me to work. Unfortunately, I was at my parents for too long, evidently, and the shelter kicked me out. At this point, it had seemed that all of the shit had hit the fan and that I was fucked.
I ended up filling in my parents about the shelter and told them that I had been kicked out, and they offered to let me come back to their house so long as I applied to bunch of jobs, paid rent, and did chores. Also, the new radiator for my truck, which my father had graciously paid for, came in yesterday, and my family put it in while I was at work. The truck is working well now and I'm actually able to use it to get to work. So I guess things have taken a turn for a better. We'll see how this goes.
Pros and Cons, my friend. I wish the best of luck to you!
Keep on trucking, man. Life can be rough, but it's what makes the good times so much sweeter.
Yay!
Good to hear some better news. I hope things keep looking up!
