New Story · 2:21am Dec 16th, 2013
Since it's been a while, I'd like to tell you about my new story, Sword of Harmony. I've tagged it so you can see it on the side, so check it out when you're done with this.
Now, I'm gonna be devoting a lot of time to writing this, but I'm also going to be working on a little side project which I will not release until I have finished it, which then I will release chapters two times a week: Wednesdays and Fridays. Here's a preview of what I've written, the ONLY thing I will release ahead of time.
As Luna rose the moon up next to her big sister Celestia, she felt herself well up with pride inside. They were fast approaching the one-year anniversary of her redemption from Nightmare Moon by the Elements of Harmony, and Luna was happy to be rid of her former self. However, things were troubling her.
“Dearest Sister,” she began, “do you ever hear things while walking the hall of the castle?”
“Hm?” Celestia replied, digging into a slice of lemon cake. “Not much, really, aside from the gossip among off-duty guards. Can you believe that they think I have a cake problem?”
“You do, Sister.”
“No I don’t,” Celestia said with her mouth full of cake.
“Sister, you’re eating a slice of cake as we speak.”
Celestia looked down at her cake and threw it off the balcony, a forced smile on her face.
“But, in all seriousness, Sister, do you hear anything strange? Any whispers within the halls, when you think you’re all alone, and you turn around and find out you are?”
“That’s pretty specific, Luna,” Celestia said. “But, no, I have not. I think the lack of sleep you’re getting is starting to creep up on you. Try and get some rest tonight, I’ll keep watch.”
“But Sister-”
“No if, ands, or buts, Luna! You need sleep, and you’re going to get some!”
Luna tried to come up with a reasonable argument, but she found none. Dejectedly, she left the balcony to return to her room.
“Now, it’s time for just you and me…” Celestia said as she brought her cake back up and bit into another piece.
There you have it! Not giving the name, nor the plot, nor any other details. Speculate as much as you want in the comments.
