To be fair, I don't think that Twilight deserve to be Princess. I mean Twilight becoming a Princess does sounded cool, but when the season 3 finale came, that thought went into darkness for me. At first I thought Princess Celestia was responsible for switching Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie's cutie marks. Because it's was a perfect way for the Princess of the Sun to test Twilight and when Twilight would passed this "TEST" she would become a Princess like Celestia, Luna, and Cadence.
But a friend of mine just told me it was all Starswirl the Bearded fault. But I started to see problems with Twilight being a Princess.
One: With Twilight as a Alicorn Princess, her Element of Magic would be more stronger than the other Elements of Harmony. Which means the Element of Magic would be out of balance with the other five Elements.
Two: If she was a Princess, there is possibility of Queen Chrysalis returning to finish what she started before at the Royal Wedding first by killing Twilight. So Twilight is open target for any Changeling wanting to kill her.
Three: I fear that wont be the last we would be seeing of King Sombra and he will try to get Twilight to join her by showing her Dark Magic spells that she hasn't even cast yet, maybe some that would corrupt her.

...Well, I think I'll add some more. I have some perspective on this. I'm neutral on the Twilight Princess thing. I see good and bad potential with it, so I don't have a hell of a lot of an opinion either way. That said, on the subject of your points...
1. Twilight's magic wasn't made stronger with her ascension as an alicorn princess. The majority of magic theories in fantasy worlds suggest the peak magical ability a mage can attain is inborn, so it renders the first point moot.
2. The second point is certainly realistic. In fact, it might make for a good episode at some point. However, that doesn't mean it's a bad idea for her to be a princess as a character. the fact that it could be used as a plot development actually argues it might be better for her to be a princess.
3. I really wish that would happen. I think Sombra could have been a great bad guy if they had fleshed him out more and given him an actual personality, interesting back story, and more than three lines. However, this probably won't happen, much to my dismay, because (a) Sombra was quite thoroughly destroyed, making it a chore to explain how it would work, and (b) Sombra was one of the biggest things to receive criticism so far in Friendship is Magic from the fan base. Though people like the fanon version of him, many of them regard him as one of the worst characters in the show.
1601598 Well... That's before season 4 episode 1 came out. And other bronies suspect that that blast from the Crystal Heart may had destroyed Sombra, but since he is also part shadow, he can regenerate. Remember Sombra was sealed in the arctic north in a shadow form, so there is a possibility that he might return.

Granted. I had the theory that (as a huge tolkien nerd) he stored a piece of his soul into an object, the most likely being his horn which was not destroyed or the alicorn amulet, and he uses that to live on, like Sauron used the one ring to survive as a spirit of malice for centuries.

My dear Twilight, if only you knew that in real life, fear and violence are prevalent things. As well with the insatiable lust for power. And with power, comes bloodshed.
You live in a fools paradise. if only you knew how little you would go in life by relying on love and friendship completely. Entropy is inevitable. You cannot go agaisnt the laws. No one can.
Everything will be corrupted and fall into discord. People may come together and form nations to withstand the harshness, but in the end all will fall. Thing is how will you fall? From such a 'perfect' place as Equestria, in our eyes, our presence is enough to corrupt.
So truly, you are destined to fall. We all have two paths to choose, though one is more tempting than the other but both have ends that cannot be avoided. Ignorance is bliss, but the truth will always be made known.
We are all the same, Twilight. It is how you choose to define your life that make you different. Like a child, your curiosity cannot be resisted by you, and it will consume you. Few understand darkness, therefore it is hated and shunned. When it finds someone who is willing to accept, it never lets go. It will cherish the bonds it has with you and change your very being. Your thoughts will be blackened, your eyes will be clouded, your heart will be hardened like a rock, and at the end you, just like darkness, will never be understood and be hated by all for the rest of your life.
You will become darkness itself and continue to corrupt those who want to understand.

Can't wait for the story. Also i agree that twilight doesn't deserve to be a princess. i also think she is not capable of handling it. Immortality is not something everyone can handle very well.)

I will counter with this. Twilight did in fact deserve to become a princess. She always has been. She's been groomed by Celestia to become her successor since the day her magic went wild as portrayed in Cutie Mark Chronicles. What I will say, however, is that she didn't deserve to become a princess *yet*. She still has too much to learn about friendship, and about magic. Three seasons' worth of content is not enough to warrant any sort of ascension ceremony.
