Gr the damn thread locked before I could get done with my post to it.
Please note I will NOT tolerate any flaming or 'moral' war on my blog I'll delete it myself before the mods even get the chance if it comes to it.
I just wanted to post my thoughts as well, since It took a bit to write it all and I don't want this to go to waste.

Pansexual? Never knew there was a classification that spanned love across not only men woman and the third gender but all biological sexes as well. Guess that takes me from 'Bi' to pansexual myself!. xD

"Oh they're just acting on there impulses and desires which makes it immoral." Stupid! A relationship isn't just sex! And more people seriously need to understand this.
For my own standing I DO admit that in a story where the character finds sexual interest in them right off the bat is dumb but I think its just because its written by a bad writer so far I haven't read yet to where a human is immediately attracted to the sapient equines for sexual reasons.
In these stories two major thing almost always happens in romance. The character has an internal conflict with himself over 'is it right to fall in love with another sapient species?'
Or "(enter sapient beings name) loves me is it wrong for me to love back?"
Other times it takes the character a few years after they end up in equestria in which case the question isn't 'is it morally right or wrong' more like 'can I make my significant other happy despite me being so different?'
A few months ago I visited a friends house he and I were playing some regular catch with a football a kid from next door wanted to play as well as we let him and we had fun, now mind you I look like a female (I'm a male with feminine features and really long hair) he asked are you a boy or a girl?
I told him 'you can't tell from the cloths I wear?'
'Oh its just hard to tell, sorry for thinking you were a girl.'
I told him I wasn't offended at all (I didn't tell him I was flattered instead)
The he said 'well at least your human'
That caught me off guard and I stopped for a moment.
'Whats wrong with being nonhuman?'
He simply shrugged and he said he didn't know. so I gave him a question a simple one at that.
If I was an alien would you treat me differently from other people despite me looking just like you and talking just like you?
Again he shrugs.
It was a hypothetical question that was so simple granted a real extraterrestrial wouldn't look like us or talk like us completely (though there might be a slight chance given the odds no matter how small.)
But what I wanted to get across to him was that just because someone is different be it sex, race, culture, species, If you can comprehend in a sapient manner and understand affection, love, envy, hate then that would make you no different from anyone else. Physical differences aside.
'morally right to you or not I choose who I love and the fact people judge others as well finding love in another sapient life form disgusting it makes me really sad.
its likes people only worry about what society tells them is 'right' or 'wrong' and lets face it society CAN be wrong! I mean there was a time where pedophilia was socially acceptable at one point! (Google that if you don't believe me.)
So I know society can be wrong and shouldn't strictly be followed like there isn't any other way to live, we can perceive to be what is right and wrong for ourselves and by our own judgment not by the judgment of other people. /rantend
