PINKIE PIE FANS! · 10:27pm Nov 23rd, 2013
So I was watching this video on youtube.
When I got to the pacman video in the clip, I noticed that the ghosts names were Inky, Blinky, Pinky, and Clyde. Notice anything particular about the names?
Yep, all are the same as Pinkie and her sisters. and Clyde, rhymes with Pie. I'm thinking Hasbro ripped off the names, either by accident, or on purpose. Either way, I thought it was interesting. NOW! Back to my video.
Yeah me too, as soon as I heard of her sisters names I instantly said "OMG Pac-Man reference!!"; though I'm not sure if it was intentional or not; although Hasbro does like to throw in little references here and there, so I don't know for sure.
Alas Inkie, Blinky and Clyde isn't their Hasbro names.
Pinkie Pie and her family are featured in the chapter book My Little Pony: Pinkie Pie and the Rockin' Ponypalooza Party!, which names her mother Cloudy Quartz, her father Igneous Rock, and two of her sisters Marble Pie and Limestone Pie. In the book, Granny Pie and Nana Pinkie are each mentioned again, and a third, older sister of Pinkie Pie's is also mentioned.
1541469 I must read this awesomeness!

click on the link titled Family and Relatives, then scroll down to Pinkie's listing.
The names for the ponies have "name" if not official through the show or products like toys and comics.
