As you probably know, I'm Frostmourne, the writer of A Forbidden Doorway and the now dead Cogs & Needles. I got my name from the legendary sword of the Lich King in World of Warcraft, a Fantasy MMORPG with a few Steampunk influences. And this, this is the start of a series of blog posts in which I talk about how I come up with ideas and different parts of the story. There may be a couple

    Apologies

Sorry the next chapter isn't out yet, I've been on the job hunt some more, and that took up a bit of my time. There's also the fact that i had to get used to writing for Reagan. I'll have to get used to Shay and Jacob when their chapters happen as well, but I'm positive that I've figured out how to write for them as well as Reagan now. Most think time is like a river that flows swift and sure in one direction. They are wrong. Time is an ocean in a storm. There are many different ways that time is perceived. Some feel days are short, others think days are long, and then there are folk who feel as though the length of a day is somewhere in between short and long, to various degrees. As Jack fell through the abyss he had fallen in once before, he felt as though time was slowed to a minuscule fraction of it's normal speed. He did not see any of his friends. He did not see anything for what felt like an hour or more, and he began to wonder what was transpiring.

-A Forbidden Doorway, Chapter Three: Safe and Sound

If you're wondering why I have not posted the second chapter yet, do not wander too far within your minds. It is simply because I want to make sure that it is in tip top shape before I post it, and the ending is something that is hard for me to decide how it should go.

See you, readers.
