Something I found in DDO · 10:55pm Nov 14th, 2013
So, I hopped on DDO just a minute ago. Had this Raider's Reward Box in my inventory. Clicked it. It gave me a list of weapons I could choose. I laughed at three of them.
Celestia, Brightest Star of the Day
Nightmare, The Fallen Moon
Twilight, Element of Magic
(The other options were the items in the Named Chest Drop section of this page)
WIN!!
(And all my want)
If I did play that I'd have to take Twilight, Element of Magic just because I'm always a caster.

There were more, but the only one of those three I would use with my current toons is Celestia, Brightest Star of Day on my Drow Paladin because it would get an extra +4 to attack rolls and damage rolls since it is wielded as a short sword, despite being a bastard sword. My caster is crossed with Monk and uses handwraps, but could probably use a staff. My other Paladin uses axes (cuz dwarves almost always use axes or hammers (and I get a bonus)).
1508322 I miss the world of D&D, online games just aren't the same as the pen and paper system.

Hell no. Never can be. Too simplified, even compared to Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor and Icewind Dale 2. Just looking through a Players Handbook... the difference is night and day. And I don't miss it because I never lost it.
1508382 Well I miss it because I lost all my friends. So I've got nobody to game with unless I wanna start running my own thing, but that sounds just crazy.

Preto Mal started a Pathfinder: Equestria campaign that he is still running. He posted something in the JFF forums to let people know and they communicate through it. I was gonna, but life happened. Some players hadn't even played before, but were open to it. Try doing something like that. Doesn't even have to be ponified. He uses Roll20.net, if I recall correctly.
