The Title Gives It Away. · 6:53am Nov 11th, 2013
Finding color
in places once colorful,
like scouring space
to find meaning in black.
Seeking heart's effort
coming up
empty handed
Repeat.
Hi you coconut cymbalist. Welp, this is what we call a poem. You see, the original thought was to take the fifteen thousand worded My Little Dashie, strike out a few words and post it in a story as an extended poem. Then the thought of re-reading MLD sort made me cringe because as of lately I've been doing a literary analysis of The Holy Bible. Which reveals quite a lot about it in the first place. Well seeing as how there is no type of depth or really anything above shallowness of that story (not that it's bad because of that... I guess), I got bored very fast. So I cut it down to the message of the story which still took too many words IMO, so here is the shorter version of that even. Now here is how I added my own twist to it, by adding one simple word. Would anything really be that different?
