-Hidden Identity-

I fancy myself an epeolatrist. My favorite word is smaragdine, which means "of emeralds". I believe that writing has no rules that cannot be broken, and no set structure that must be followed.

    New Year's Resolutions

Is it too late to decide my New Year's Resolutions? Yes? Too bad, here they come.
I have recently moved jobs, schools, living quarters and otherwhat, so the planned hiatus has come to a close. Everfree Northwest, which I am currently attending, marks the date of new updates.
    I will do the following:
Resolve the cliffhanger in Introspection's latest chapter.
    Update 1010

    And thus begin anew

The river of toil has undone the frozen seal under which it has kept the waters warm via a current of ceaseless occupation.

    Christmas!

A very merry Christmas to all. Christmastime has always been a time for remembering what drives us and what we find is truly important. I find that one thing that is truly important to me is writing. Writing has defined who I am as a person, and given me a path to follow for the rest of my days. Writing does so much for all of us on this site, whether we partake in the craft or enjoy the works

    ROTLcon

I recently attended the Running of the Leaves convention in Colorado. It was a first time con, brand new. Awesome times there. Met some great people and had some fun. I bought a box with Solrac's signature on it for seven dollars during an auction and was able to see the rarest pony card ever sold for $120. Hey, if you lot are ever in Colorado send me a message. It would be a pleasure to meet any

Funny, I'm at Orycon (general sci-fi/fantasy con) right now. Seems like everyone is at cons. I'm sad that Pony (and pony cons) weren't a thing back when I last lived in Colorado in 2006. Now I'm stuck waiting for Everfree again here in the northwest.

Speaking of... Remember Piquo? He got put in charge of the writing track for EFNW this year, and Horizon and I are assisting. I'm really looking forward to it, especially after this Orycon. The weird thing is that I'm at a con that's been running 35 years, and is theoretically larger and more "important." Yet I'm actually finding it compares poorly to Everfree on many counts. I thought Pony was maybe just a subset of sci-fi/fantasy, and that a more general con would mean higher quality music, art, costumes, etc. But it's just the opposite. Hopefully ROTL kept up the pony quality for ya!

Hey good to hear from you! That's awesome about Piquo Pie; I will go congratulate him. Sorry about the late reply; finals and work picked up drastically. ROTLcon was great, with plenty of pony to go around. You should join us next year.
