I'm certainly getting a LOT of positive comments and favorites on the prologue of "Harmonic Spectrum." I rarely get that a lot on DA, really, and I really gotta wonder if it was just this site alone or if it was my improved writing that did the trick. Hmm...
Either way, thanks for all the favorites and comments on it so far. Appreciate it. However, since it's just the prologue, the story has only begun. =)

And while I'm at this, since "HS" will have Dash exhibiting the qualities needed to use the Elements in each chapter, I will ask you guys this:
If you were the author of this fic, how would Dash go on about representing each Element and why? What kind of life situations would call for them, in other words?

Hm... How about this: (I was thinking of Honesty being at a set time when Rainbow is alone somewhere and the rest are at certain times and in all six trials, she is being talked to telepathically by an ethereal entity)
Honesty: A trial of truth. Somehow, Rainbow's friends are summoned in front of her but they are fakes that somehow act everything out. She must tell them what she really feels about them or suffer a penalty. Each penalty gets worse for every time she dodges the truth.
Loyalty: A trial of speed and reaction time. Something happens to somebody and Rainbow must get to them before they fall to their death, are eaten, killed.etc
Generosity: A trial of... well... generosity. Rainbow meets up with someone that is poor, beaten and lonely. She must find a way to help him/her back to his/her feet by offering certain things that might please the pony.
Kindness: A trial of survival and intelligence. A nice diamond dog is found by Rainbow injured from within a forest with no medical supplies on him. Rainbow must use her surrounding's to heal his wounds without any potions, bandages or salves. Only water, leaves and the nectar from certain plants... but which plants leak poisonous or acidic nectar?
Laughter: A trial of patience and skill. Rainbow finds a group of depressed fillies. Extremely depressed fillies! She must try and cheer them up and I don't think a sonic rainboom alone will be enough to cheer them up. Remember:

Magic: A trial of friendship. Can I leave Magic to someone else to do? I can't do this one...

Definitely, except for Honesty. Sounds like something that involves either Discord or Chrysalis for it to work, and I won't have both of them appear until the sixth chapter.
But everything else is definitely doable to me.
