In the Lieu of Weddings...

I must say that the Wedding episode had me literally ballistic. 'Ballistic' meaning I squealed quite a bit throughout the whole thing. Awesome new insect-esque creatures, zombie ponies, and a total of three new songs? Guys, I can't get enough of this. The team will be hard-pressed to top this episode next season.

But besides being ecstatic (and feverishly downloading the songs and their remixes--I got my wish! A VILLAIN SONG!) along with everyone else in the energy of the Wedding adventure, I also find myself just the tiniest bit downcast on the concept of going on a pony hiatus for three months. (Okay, maybe a lot downcast. In-tears downcast, perhaps.) WHAT am I going to do in my free time? Be productive?!

Luckily, I brought this up to my mom yesterday afternoon, who came up with the brilliant idea of a new summertime project. I'll give more on that later, but I won't be able to post any of it on FiMFiction until it's in story form. (That may give you some insight. XD)

Also, I apologize for not posting anything lately. The support I've received--good and critical--has totally given me the momentum to write something else. If you don't see anything from me but filler fics (short oneshots that don't really go anywhere, but explore some things that were not explored on the show), just remember that I'm working on something pretty big back here, but it's still in brainstorm form. And it'll be done whenever.

I'm trying to avoid hopping on the Queen Chrysalis/Cadence bandwagon, but it's proving to be very hard. Changelings are officially freaking epic.

In fact, have a Chrysalis before you leave.

(Love her horn, for some reason. The jagged theme just WORKS. Also, that coloring is awesome.)
