I was *SO* right! I knew it for months that the princess was a fake! I knew it was a clone the *second* they showed the Mane 6's doubles!! Ha ha, this feels so good! Everybody else though ti was Nightmare or Discord, but I knew they were wrong! They all forget that the team behind MLP is *way* more creative than to reuse villains, especially in a one shot Slice of Life style show! IN. YOUR. FACES!!

I had suspected the same. A nice pair of episodes, it was. I'm still not entirely happy that they pulled two entirely new characters with an existing relationship to Twilight out of their hats, but they handled it far better than I had feared they might.

Except they've done that for every character in the show so far, so I don't see the problem. No one question about Rarity's parents, or how Spike knew June Bug.
And I *so* want to be a Changling now. I can then be *whatever* I want! I always liked Shang Shung, so transforming always appealed to me.

The parents and June Bug are a bit more forgivable in my eyes; these episodes' entire plotline revolved around Cadence and Shining Armor. And yeah, those Changelings were awesome! That was way better than the 'spell-gone-wrong magical clones' I had been afraid of.
78611 And those songs were amazing. I *really* liked the Candance's one in part two. But... you just know that this will be fodder for some very... "interesting" fanfics that this episode's going to help spew. Oh well.

Oh yes, I can see a great many fanfics spawning from this... And the songs, yeah! Three good new ones with two (or was it three?) reprises! More than I could have hoped for.
